Breeder Statement: Stinger Abyssinians goes back to 1978 when I purchased my first Abyssinian. As a small, hobby breeder (as opposed to larger commercially-classified catteries per guidelines under the USDA), we have the time to spend the time loving and playing with each of cats. Our Abys are raised and loved in a sunny and fresh air environment and are current with all their vaccinations – all to ensure you have a happy and healthy new family member. We are dedicated to breed preservation of the Abyssinian and believe in responsible breeding and work hard to ensure anyone who has one of our babies can be confident they have a healthy, social, and beautiful kitten to add to their family. We do not release our kittens until the age of 12 weeks and at that time our kittens will have all their required vaccinations; have a thorough health exam by our vet to qualify for the Florida State Health certificate (required by Florida law for the sale of all cats and dogs); have a negative Feline Leukemia Virus test; and are parasite-free. We have DNA-tested all of our breeding cats to ensure our kittens do not carry any genetic disorders which can be found by current testing.
