At Rosebud Ragdolls we strive to uphold the Ragdoll BEP (blue-eyed, pointed) breed standard as set forth in TICA and CFA when we were introduced to the Ragdoll breed in 2020. Traditional (or the original, if you will) Ragdolls are meant to be large, friendly felines that are pointed and have blue eyes. As such, at Rosebud Ragdolls, we do not breed solids, minks or sepia colors. Many of these colors are bred outcrossed from the Ragamuffin breed, if you’re seeking one of these, I’d be happy to point you to a reputable Ragamuffin breeder. Our breeding cats are from traditional bloodlines. We do have plans to add the lynx pattern eventually as it is still a blue-eyed, pointed color cat and upholds the breed standard as laid out in the registries of the world.
