How Do I Register My Cat

1Register My Cat (From a Breeder Slip)

Registering a cat from a Breeder Slip is quick and easy. Watch this video or follow these instructions:
Go to "TFMS >> Register a Cat >> create one for free.
Enter the requested information and follow the on-screen instructions.
Pay for the registration.
Your cat will be registered within seconds. You will be notified by the website and via email as soon as the cat has been registered. You can then find your cat under "TFMS >> Cats & Litters >> My Cats", e.g. to Generate a Registration Certificate.

2Register My Cat via Certified Pedigree (without a Breeder Slip or Registration Slip)

Go to TFMS >> Register a Cat >> Register a Cat From a Certified Pedigree From an Approved Registry. This will require you to log in to TFMS. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one for free.
Follow the on-screen instructions and upload the documents when requested.
Pay for the registration.
Note: This will create a case that will be processed by the Executive Office. You can find your open cases at TFMS >> User Avatar (the little "picture" at the very top of the screen) >> My Cases. You can follow the progress of the case there and also supply additional information.

3 Register My Cat From An Individual Cat Registration Form

A pedigree with the full name of the cat & signed by the cat's breeder to include all of the following: 3 full generations of ancestors, the name of each cat, the registration number, the color, the pattern, and it must all be in English using TICA terminology. "I certify this pedigree to be true and correct". The breeder's signature must be directly next to this statement. The breeder is defined as the owner of the dam at the time of mating.
Proof of ownership (See Proof of Ownership section of Knowledge Base Categories)

Go to TFMS >> Register a Cat >> Register a Cat From the Individual Cat Registration Form. This will require you to log in to TFMS. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one for free.
Follow the on-screen instructions and upload the documents when requested.
Pay for the registration.

4 Register My Household Pet

Go to TFMS >> Register a Cat >> Register a Household Pet. This will require you to log in to TFMS. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one for free.

Pay for the registration.
Your cat will be registered within seconds. You will be notified by the website and via email as soon as the cat has been registered. You can then find your cat under "TFMS >> My Cats", e.g. to Generate a Registration Certificate.
