{slider How do I Transfer Ownership as Self-Service Instantly?}

If you have a TFMS account and the person who sold or gave you the cat is the sole owner and has an active TFMS account, that person can transfer the cat to you INSTANTLY with zero wait time. To have ownership processed immediately, ask the current owner to transfer the cat to you from their TFMS account. This will facilitate the transfer. Both current and new owner(s) must have an active TFMS client account. To complete the process the new owner will provide the current owner with your own TFMS Client ID and Last Name. This is the fastest process to immediately complete this transaction. Watch step-by-step instructions on how to transfer sole ownership immediately.

Please Note: This transfer of ownership should only be used if you are using a TICA Registration Certificate to transfer a cat into your name. DO NOT use this process for a cat you already have in TFMS to transfer to someone else.

{slider How do I Transfer Ownership as Self-Service If One or Both Parties Do Not Have a TFMS Account? (This is a second way to Transfer Ownership and is NOT immediate)}

If one or both parties involved in the transfer does not have a TFMS account, then the case must be processed by TICA’s EO. This method is not immediate, a workflow that collects the cats name and allows you to upload a copy of the Registration Certificate is needed. The Registration Certificate is used and uploaded to create a case that must be processed by TICA’s EO.

To transfer using this method, go to “Cats & Litters” under the Main Menu in TFMS. Click on “TICA Transfer of Ownership” to allow clients who have a TICA Registration Certificate to initiate a transfer.

Please Note:  This transfer of ownership should only be used if you are using a TICA Registration Certificate to transfer a cat into your name.  DO NOT use this process for a cat you already have in TFMS to transfer to someone else.

You may consider asking the owner to transfer the cat to you from their TFMS account to get the transfer immediately. To do this, you will need to provide them your own TFMS Client ID and Last Name.

{slider Can I use PayPal instead of the TFMS Shopping Cart?}

A. The TICA Shopping Cart was created in TFMS to allow customers to add items to their cart and checkout instantly with a single transaction, eliminating the need for TICA’s Executive Office (EO) to match payments to work request. Payments made directly to PayPal, rather than going through the TFMS shopping cart, creates additional work for the EO and increases the time it takes to process your request.

{slider Can I use a shared email address with someone?}

TICA has noticed several instances in TFMS where two or more people share the same email address. This causes and issue where people can see cats that belong to someone else using the same email address. To alleviate this issue, please be sure to establish individual accounts and email addresses.

{slider How can I upgrade my case with rush service?}

At the top of each case in the upper right-hand corner is a green button that will allow you to upgrade your case to rush service.

We have added the ability to upgrade any case that is submitted to rush service. A green button in the upper right-hand corner of the case screen has been added to upgrade your case to rush service.  This resulted from client requests not being able to submit a litter registration with Rush Service or upgrade it afterward.

{slider What will happen to the tickets I already submitted prior to the launch of TFMS?}

A. For tickets that have an invoice attached to them and rush service tickets you don’t need to do anything, we are working on those as fast as we can.

B. For all other tickets you will receive an email with instructions on how to enter those into TFMS. By doing so, it helps to greatly reduce your wait time.

Rush service can be added to a litter, but only at the time of registration.

{slider Can Self-Service be used for pedigrees?}

Self-service for pedigrees that do not have blanks or lineage errors is available and can be issued immediately. However, a case will need to be created by EO for pedigrees that need more research.

{slider Can I change the case for a cattery name using self-service?}

Users can change the character case of a cattery name, but not the name of their cattery. So IRONMANCATS can be changed to IronManCats by the client as a self-service.

Just go to your breeder slip and select “update cat.” From there you can change the eye color. Changes are immediate when you save them.

You can now open your breeder’s slip in your TFMS account and find a button that will allow you to register a cat/kitten directly off the breeder slip.
