The International Cat Association (TICA) teams with American Family’s Pet Expo

April 25 – 27, 2014, at the Orange County Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA, The International Cat Association (TICA) event sponsored by Dr. Elsey Precious Cat Litter, Sturdi Products and Royal Canin teams with American Family’s Pet Expo to present 55 pedigreed breeds of cats in competition for the coveted title of Best In Show. Added to the championship cat show is Junior Exhibitor presentation at noon on Saturday. Children present their cat and the public learns fascinating tidbits about the breed, caring for cats and will enjoy the enthusiasm from the children. Amanda Stone, 2013 Miss Southern California Teen US will be joining the cat show on Saturday to help present some adoptable shelter cats ready to go with qualified fur-ever homes.

The Bengal and Savannah breed presentation, “Walk on the Wild Side” held at 1:00 pm each day and hosted by Jay Bangle, TICA Allbreed judge and Bengal breeder.

Grooming demonstration at 2:00 pm each day, presented by both longhair and shorthair TICA exhibitors. Yes,
cats really do like to be groomed, let us show you how.

Each day at 3:00 pm TICA exhibitors will share interesting information about “Showing your Household Pet”
so you too can appreciate how fun this hobby really is.

Visit the Pedigreed and Household Pet cat show in the Huntington Beach building and enjoy education presentations, breed history, children, and adults of all ages sharing their joy and love of cats. TICA currently recognizes more than 55 breeds of cats from the ancient Abyssinian to the newer breeds like the Pixie Bob, the naked Sphynx to the longhaired Norwegian Forest Cat, and including wild looking Savannahs and Bengals.
