At Moonspell British, we are dedicated to producing exceptional British Shorthair and British Longhair cats with the unmistakable beauty, substance, temperament, and expression that make the British breed so special.

Our program is built around carefully selected European bloodlines, with breeding cats imported from Europe and chosen for quality, pedigree, temperament, structure, and genetic health. We specialize in golden, black silver shaded, and fawn, including striking turquoise and colorpoint eye expressions.

Health is an important part of every breeding decision we make. Every cat in our breeding program is DNA tested through Wisdom Panel, allowing us to make informed pairings with the long-term health and integrity of our lines in mind. Our cats come from documented pedigreed bloodlines, and our program works with both TICA and WCF registration.

Just as important as genetics is how our kittens begin their lives.

Our cats and kittens are raised in our home, not in a kennel environment. From the beginning, our kittens grow up surrounded by the normal sights, sounds, routines, and affection of family life. We want our kittens to leave us not only beautiful, but confident, affectionate, well-socialized, and prepared to become part of their new families.

We are selective about our pairings and intentional about the direction of our program. Rather than breeding simply to produce kittens, our goal is to continually strengthen the qualities we value: excellent British type, beautiful coats and expression, sound genetics, and the calm, loving temperament for which the breed is treasured.

For us, a pedigree tells us where a cat came from. What we do with those genetics determines where the line goes next.
